Carmen Peinado is graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Granada in 2016. Throughout her career, she has studied several disciplines, such as graphic design or Concept Art, taking a course on “Construction of characters for Stop Motion” with Steffano Bessoni in 2014 and another one of “Creative character design” with Óscar Jiménez Vargas in 2015.She received a Master's Degree in Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching from the University of Granada in the 2016-2017 academic year, with internships at the I.E.S. "Isabel la Católica" of Armilla, Granada. Upon completion, she participated in a volunteer project to approach the Roma community in Romania. The following course is dedicated to the public examination for the specialty of Drawing Teachers for Art Schools, after which it is registered in an interim exchange.
During the 2018-2019 academic year she completed the Master's Degree in Drawing: Illustration, Comic and Audiovisual Creation at the University of Granada, through which she serves as an illustrator and designer at the “Esdrújula” publishing house in Granada, and received an internship placement with the “Temple of Millions of Years of Thutmose III” project in Luxor, Egypt.
Currently, she works freelance for illustration and comic projects, maintaining contact with the Esdrújula publishing house and several writers in Spain, as well as conducting her own projects that she promotes through the participation in comic book markets and salons, obtaining awards such as “Best illustration” in FICZONE, Granada, and the sale of products through the materials store “La Madriguera” in Granada, and online.
Juan Carlos Lara Bellón.Juan Carlos holds a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Granada obtained in 2017. During his years of studies, he specialized in techniques of digital art and the use of software applied to design, drawing and painting.
His fields of interest are illustration, editorial drawing and art related to videogames and films. In 2016, he was associated to a Grant program of the Drawing Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts. In 2017, he participated in the design of characters and scenarios for the adaptation of El Retablo de Maese Pedro by Manuel de Falla, in collaboration with the Vice-rector of the University Extension and the Orchestra of the University of Granada.
Since 2016, he works actively as a freelance artist in the field of editorial illustration and in 2018 he obtains his MA in Drawing: Creation, Production and Diffusion at the University of Granada, and he ass granted the Scholarship in the Thutmosis III Temple Project.
Currently, his artistic interests lean towards the recreation and diffusion of historic heritage and the creation and design of characters and scenarios for audio-visual productions related to entertainment.
Isabel Puerto graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Granada (Granada, Spain) in 2015. During her training she specialized in the disciplines of sculpture and drawing in all its aspects, both traditional and digital. Thus in 2015 make the design of the corporate image for the company "Asesoría Jurídica Soledad".
In 2016 she obtained the official University Master in Drawing: Creation, production and dissemination by the University of Granada, with the main project, the reconstruction of lost assets through drawing: "Ecclesia Igneus: reconstruction of lost assets."
She participates in numerous exhibition activities in different art centers such as Medina Elvira Foundation or the Circle of Fine Arts in Pozoblanco, as well as the Spanish Music Festival of Cadiz in 2015.
In 2016, she performs practices in the excavation of the Temple of Millions of Years of Thutmose III.
Currently she belongs to the doctoral program in History and Arts (B01.56.1) of the University of Granada.
Constanza Rodríguez Althviz has Master of Fine Arts from El Bosque University (Bogotá / Colombia, 2012), she worked in Acid Ink Tattoo Art as an illustrator and tattoo artist from 2008-2013, during these alternating years she worked extensively with personal artistic projects, making the curatorial part of "Art on show" El Bosque University from 2009 to 2012, where in the last year she exhibited her exhibition "Escaping from my Tale", she also took part in the collective exhibition of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Bogotá named "Exlibris" in 2010, this was later followed by the sample of Faber Castell National drawing where in two consecutive years, 2011/2012 she took a major part as one of the artists. In January 2013 she participated as an exhibitor artist at Art Hall, which was diversely organized by the Swiss Colombo gallery Square House. During that year she also participated in conferences and was invited to take part in the thesis jury at universities in her hometown.
In the travel season to Frankfurt (Germany) she worked by illustrating and tattooing in the company 'Unik Arts'. Constanza also participated as a guest artist in the Spanish music festival Cádiz in late 2013.
In 2014 she obtained her masters in drawing, creation, production and dissemination in The University of Granada. Today she is part of the group of exhibiting artists named "SomosCaPAZes" foundation, which carries out research and production in the field of arts.
Liliana Muñoz Morenois graduated in Fine Arts by the Faculty Alonso Cano of Granada (Spain) in the year 2013. During her education she participated in innovative projects related to the drawing teaching, for example: “Use of Audiovisual resources for teaching-learning life drawing” (2012) or “Statue drawing applicate to the web” (2013).
In the 2014, she studied the Master in Drawing: Creation, production and diffusion, in the University of Granada, working also in the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea until that year.
Currently she is assistant in the research group HUM866: DIBUJO Y PROYECTO, at the same time that she continues to improve her knowledge in drawing, focusing in the teaching and methodology resources centered on this matter.
Manuel González Bustos graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Granada in 2007, continuing his studies under the Erasmus Program in Bourges, France. In 2008, he undertook the Graphic Design course and the CAP course (Teaching Qualification) at the University of Granada. He worked on two internships (the Eurodysea and the Argo programmes) in creative advertising in Brussels, Belgium during 2009. In 2010, Manuel worked as a language assistant in Martinique (France). He obtained his Masters in Artistic Creation, Production and Dissemination from the University of Granada in 2011.
Manuel participated in the Festival of Music and Dance of Granada In 2011. His work of music, dance and real time audiovisual was selected by the MUVI3 “visual music " competition board. He also undertook additional training courses related to Drawing, Synaesthesia and Recent Technologies in the audiovisual field. He is currently working on drawing, creative illustration, graphic design, and video art.
Sergio Sánchez Alonso graduated in Fine Arts by the Faculty Alonso Cano of Granada (Spain) in 2011. In summer of this same year he obtained a scholarship of linguistic immersion granted by the MEC (Ministry of Education and Culture) studying one month abroad in London. The next year he decided to continue his studies in Fine Arts coursing a Masters degree in “Drawing: Creation, Production and Diffusion” imparted by the University of Granada, that granted him a scholarship in the Excavation of the Temple of Thutmose III. He has carried out different specialization courses and now a day works on field drawing, painting, illustration and graphic design.
Miguel Ángel Vázquez Vera studied Fine Arts in the University of Granada, were he graduated in 2011. In 2012 he obtained a Masters in “Drawing: Creation, Production and Diffusion” writing his Masters essay “A Study of Artistic Heritage for its Subsequent Application to Contemporary Narrative Drawing”.
Nieves Fdez. de Cañete Rodríguez graduated in Fine Arts from the Alonso Cano Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Granada in 2010. She obtained her Masters in Artistic Creation, Production and Dissemination from the University of Granada in 2011.
Nieves works on the corporate images of the jewellery brand, Espaliú, and the Equestrian Centre Mascotario Cenes. She worked from 2004 to the present on models and designs for the Office of Health of the Junta de Andalucía. She taught graphic design at the FORTEM Institute and provided training courses for workers. She has worked on the creative teams of the agency Grupo Sur, in Granada, the advertising agency Alternativa in Granada, and the advertising agency Solución, in Madrid. She also worked on posters for both training and news for the Choir and Performing Acts group of the BB. AA faculty of Granada. She has also worked on architectural studies in Granada.
Alvaro Ortega Braza (1984) Graduate in Fine Arts by the University Miguel Hernández de Elche en 2008. In 2006 he obtained the ERASMUS scholarship in Sicily (Italy) where he was chosen representative artist of the "Accademia di Belle Arti" of Catania in the "Fondazione Gaetano Morgese" art contest in Bari.
He actively works in the design and creation of scenarios and wardrobe for the "Gran Teatro Falla" in Cadiz (Spain). In 2009 he obtained the CAP (Certified Authorization Professional) by the Universidad de Granada. He continues his education carrying out different courses in new technologies, transdisciplinary art and dancepreformace.
In 2011, he obtained a Master Degree in "Drawing: Creation, Production and Diffusion" by the University Granada. This year he has started his PHD at the University of Granada in the Drawing Department.
Actually he is working in the field of illustration, painting, wardrobe design, graphic design and visual arts with different national and international exhibitions.
Berta Maluenda graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Granada in 2009. During 2008 – 2009, she obtained optimal results for her research: Survival of primitive techniques in current animation, for the Fellowship in Initiation Research at the University of Granada. During the same period, Berta was awarded the Partnership Grant for the Department of Drawing at the University of Granada from the Ministry of Education and Science. She attended a number of additional training courses, such as Child Illustration, Digital Illustration, Stop Motion Techniques, and Light and Art Projects. She has taken part in several seminars and collective exhibitions.
Berta obtained her Masters in Artistic Creation, Production and Dissemination at the University of Granada in 2010, continuing her doctorate in the field of non-digital animation. She is currently working in the field of video art, animation and creative illustration.
Juan José Megías holds an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the University of Granada (Spain). In 2010, he obtained his Masters in Artistic Creation, Production and Dissemination from the University of Granada. He has attended courses on digital illustration, programming in Adobe Flash and computer animation. Currently he is working on his doctorate, developing his investigation in the artistic field.
He has participated as a cartoonist and writer in several comic books. He has worked as a cartoonist in newspapers and regional magazines as "El Batracio Amarillo". He is the author of various animated short films, including "Trofeo Vikingo" and "Problems in Paradise". As webmaster, he has developed several projects, including the website of the NGO "SOS Children's Villages", the blog "Dibujando en el salón" for the Alonso Cano Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Granada, and the website of the archaeological excavation project "Thutmosis III Temple Project" in Luxor, Egypt.
He is currently working as a cartoonist, graphic designer, webmaster, 2d animator and on a number of audiovisual projects.
